At the end of every year, we like to reflect on the successes and milestones that the year brought us. We do this ahead of planning client programmes for the following year so they are on target and full of new ideas.
I’m sure we all reflect in our personal lives too! It is so important to look back on the year – what were your highs, lows, learning curves, even your favourite shows of the year? If we don’t do this, how is anyone supposed to grow as a person? It’s great to recognise the big (or small) moments that resulted in new knowledge and experience.
Yes, we all know the first two-three weeks in December are crazy busy trying to tie everything up before the Christmas break but there is something refreshing about coming back to your desk in January with a clean sheet – hitting the ground running with a flurry of new ideas, passion and drive to kick start the year!
Setting yourself personal work-related goals is also a clever way to ensure you not only succeed and stay on track;, but your clients get the best version of you to contribute to their goals!
