Exhibitions, thank goodness, are back and in full swing! They are a time for companies to showcase products, meet suppliers, meet prospective customers, check out the competition and, of course, meet journalists with the help of an experienced PR agency.

Our client, Thomas Crapper, displayed a colourful range of products in London’s Olympia for Decorex at the start of October. The eye-catching, colourful wall of iconic 814 cisterns made people literally stop in their tracks and step onto the stand. Not only can the cisterns be customised in any RAL colour, you can personalise the writing on the front – family name or witty slogan, the imagination can go wild.

Thomas Crapper’s stand was constantly busy and filled with interior designers and media.

As a PR agency, we prepare media content, inform journalists of the client’s presence, arranging media interviews/visits, place content for upcoming features, and follow up with everyone we meet to maximise coverage possibilities.

14 journalists visited the Thomas Crapper stand over a two-day period and were all loved the beautiful bathroom products on show. The strapline “take a new look at an old name” became a talking point and so many people wanted to dive deeper into the history of the iconic manufacturer. We’ve even placed Thomas Crapper in a feature for October 2024 – if you didn’t already know, the media world plans far in advance!
