In 2022, work surface specialist, Königstone launched sister brand, KönigOutdoor, a luxury range of outdoor kitchens. And 2023 has been just as exciting a year – already! A beautiful outdoor kitchen creation took pride of place on the Savills show garden at Chelsea Flower Show; and the Southern showroom was launched at the Sky House Design Centre in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. The new facility is the perfect starting point for any outdoor living project and showcases three beautiful KönigOutdoor kitchens, all made with the most durable materials, and featuring an array of configurations and design elements to provide inspiration to interior or garden designers, architects and homeowners alike.
As the PR agency for KönigOutdoor, we organised the media part of the event and invited a number of key journalists across the home interior, architectural landscaping media titles.
This event gave the media the opportunity to speak to the brains behind the brand and learn more about the products. We started the day with a presentation and Q&A session with the leaders of the KönigOutdoor team. This was then followed by a tour of the displays where everyone had the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the space.
Each kitchen is made to order here in the UK, allowing the customer or designer to create a unique outdoor kitchen to exact specifications. The outdoor kitchens can also be designed to accept mains services gas, water and electrical services for fully functional outdoor kitchens, outdoors.
The real treat of the day was having professional chefs – Alessandro and Michele – from Fogher on-hand. They prepared the most amazing speciality dishes on the KönigOutdoor kitchen, in the beautiful sunshine.
After a rainy morning, we were glad the sun came out so everyone could see the KönigOutdoor kitchen in action!
Finally we all made it home with branded KönigOutdoor goodies too!
The KönigOutdoor displays demonstrate a fantastic variety of sintered stone finishes, from classic marble to more industrial styles, and showcase various design options including handleless doors and drawers, a corner unit for a Kamado grill and a bar-style seating area with a granite worktop and cedar circular support. Other brands on display include Fulgor, Kamado Joe, Blastcool, Vitrifrigo, Alfa Forni and Barazza.
