Developed to supply both heating and hot water, when fitted with a domestic hot water cylinder, the Activair R290 is available as a wall mounted 3.2kw unit or a floor standing 5kw unit. The indoor units are easy to install, keeping labour costs down. Optimised air duct design ensures smooth airflow to reduce energy loss during operation and improve overall efficiency, resulting in lower utility bills. Ultra-quiet operation is ensured as the compressor is fully enclosed with composite silencing material, effectively reducing vibration and noise to deliver a quieter, more comfortable indoor experience.
Designed for an optimised user experience, the heat pump, which can be controlled remotely via the Warmlink app. In addition, equipped with a gas separator and R290 leak detector, the system rapidly detects any leaking refrigerant and actively discharges it. One minute after start-up, the system monitors refrigerant concentration in real time. If values exceed pre-set thresholds, it triggers shut-down protection, and the fan adjusts to a pre-set speed to vent and expel the refrigerant outdoors.
