On Friday, we attended the Steel Window Association’s (SWA) AGM. As the long-standing PR agency for the association, we present at every AGM to showcase recent results, completed projects and new ideas.

This year, the meeting was held in County Hall, London. This venue was selected not only because of its ideal location; some SWA members had actually worked on the windows in the impressive building.

The TA team is in constant contact with the members of the association throughout the year – developing case studies, seeking new opportunities and, most importantly, raising awareness of the SWA! Every quarter, we take part in the Sales Development meetings and demonstrate how members can support the association while also promoting their own companies.

The President, Kris Bennell,  kicked the AGM off with an encouraging speech on the industry today while we presented an overview of our PR, marketing and social activities from the previous year and encouraged members to tell us about their upcoming projects – either completed or in the pipeline. We also inform them of projects we are currently working on or plan on starting in the following months – event and award planning, CPDs, sponsorship opportunities, to name a few!

In the first two months of the association’s year, we received 47 pieces of media coverage with a reach of 2,243,283 and an editorial value of £235,728

After an informative Q&A session amongst all the attendees, the President closed the meeting and we enjoyed a delicious lunch while continuing the conversation. Sometimes, this is where we find out the most information!
