How long have you worked at Taylor Alden?
35 years! Three decades and some! Even to me, this is unbelievable………obviously loved (nearly) every moment for the time to fly so!?
What are your most memorable moments or highlights at Taylor Alden?
I could write a tome of course – that’s my job! The “York notes” version would include launching a homes division 15 years ago, travelling to fantastic places, losing and then finding journalists at an airport with minutes to spare, taking the wrong currency and no credit card to Salzburg, and speaking at conferences – the exciting stuff! Yet by far the most memorable moments have involved simple belly laughs, intelligent debates and fantastic relationships with the TA teams and the clients – the simple stuff.
What do you like most about working in the PR industry?
I love that it is about people and words – my two favourite things! The challenges vary and that’s what makes the life of a PR person full of – well – life!
What was your first job?
Habitat – walls and windows sales assistant. A great foundation in hindsight!
Where is your dream holiday destination?
South America – anywhere!
Tipple of choice?
Red wine
If you had to choose another career, what would it be?
Vet
And finally, who’s your dream client?
A publishing house – or anything to do with animal charities!
